Gave Backpacks and food to families and children. Local vendors gave health information, blood pressure testing, dental checks, assistance for expecting mother’s, HIV and Child Lead testing info.

How did this event impact your community?

The event was well received, 170 families were serviced reaching 500 people Total! 10 people were Prayed for, 1 received Salvation, 2 Recommitted. Our location had 16 volunteers.

Why was this event significant to your community?

This area was in need of assistance, the municipality is in the process of rebuilding it’s area and community.

Describe a significant moment that happened during the event

The city of St. Louis police department came with their Ice Cream Truck and gave free ice cream to all. This helped relieve pressure and tension between them and the public, showing them in a better light and proving the department truly Cares about them!
