Haiti Empowerment Campaign 2016
We are back from another successful empowerment campaign! Our CDGM team returned to Haiti this September where they worked alongside the Samaritan’s Purse Haiti based team on ministering to the educational as well as the spiritual needs of children, churches and families in the Port au Prince and Leogone areas.
Our goal is to enhance the capacity of Haiti’s church leaders to reach local communities, as well as remote areas with the Gospel of Grace; to equip the Christian youth leaders to impact their communities and their schools, communities, and nation and to increase coordination and integration of ministry into Samaritan’s Purse/Haiti’s technical projects that will transform these Christian leaders impacting Haiti for Christ.
Let’s Make a Difference
We found that having access to a good education is a key to breaking the cycle of poverty. This year our goal is to provide basic school supplies for students. We’re also hosting focused camps at local schools and orphanages, such as Sports, Arts and Crafts and English classes along with Youth Leadership Seminars.
Our team will distribute hygiene kits consisting of dental care items, soap, detergent, sanitizer, as well as hygiene educational materials.
Our team will supply food to the local communities that will make an impact to those we reach!
