Hurricane Relief Aid - Raleigh

3 December 2016

Lumberton, NC

WCC-Raleigh distributed Relief Aid to victims of the recent Hurricane Matthew in Lumberton, NC. 53 families received aid, prayer, and CDM literature.

Our impact

Lumberton is a small town located outside of Fayetteville, NC where many of its residents were in need before the Hurricane. The community appreciated the love and relief boxes provided by CDM. Many requested prayer and received CDM literature and CDs.

Event highlight

A testimony from a young lady who several years ago received a christmas shoe box and her life was changed as she came to realize the love of God through that shoe box and ultimately received Christ.

When a lady walked up and did not want a box but prayer.

Another success

It is easy when you are not directly affected by a situation to be disconnected from the devastation in the lives of others. We experienced the Hurricane flood waters first hand on Oct 8. To return and see the massive damage made us so thankful for God’s love and protection.
