Kedar Faith Ministries is a non-Profit organization committed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Muslim strongholds in Sierra Leone West Africa. It also endeavors to provide basic Social Services to discriminated, oppressed and persecuted Christians in the Fourah-Bay Community.

Fourah-Bay is a suburb of Freetown and has a population of about 11,000 inhabitants. It is the dynamic home for the Aku people. The Aku’s origins are from the descendants of former recaptured, freed slaves. Fourah Bay is a 100% Muslim Community; however they had a breakthrough with young Muslims.

In the month of June and July over 300 people gave their lives to Jesus. This has caused challenges with the Muslim Elders and Imams. As they (the new converts) are no longer Muslims, and are now Christians, they forfeit the right to use the facilities accommodation. Unemployment is rampart, because of low or no education, lack of opportunities and now religious discrimination. Most are unemployed nearly 99%, and are referred to as Outcasts of Society. They have been asked to move from their homes and are now homeless.
