During our “Operation Back to School” event on 4 August, we gave out an estimated 119 book bags. In addition we gave out hygiene products including toothpaste, tooth brushes and shampoo. We were also able to supply socks and a box of food for each child. We set up a resource table which had information on jobs, healthcare and food assistance, and CDs by Pastor Dollar were available. There are many families in Bibb County in financial difficulty, and we helped in a small measure by providing school supplies and food. The 40 or so stewards we had prayed and ministered to an estimated 175 parents and children.
