Destination Haiti
In August, our Creflo Dollar Global Missions US based team will be heading to Haiti. The team will work alongside the Samaritan’s Purse Haiti based team on reconstruction efforts and ministering to the educational and spiritual needs of the children and refugees affected by the 2010 earthquake.
This team in support of the Hope in Disaster Program is dedicated to serving the needs of the Haitian community. As we continue to aid in the physical restoration of Haiti we are devoted to the spiritual restoration of the people.
Call to Action
Our mission while in Haiti is to demonstrate the love of God by practically meeting the needs of those we are ministering to. We have identified a few areas where our team can have the greatest impact: Education, Food, Clothing and other basic needs.
Education – This year our goal is to provide basic school supplies for hundreds of students at schools and orphanages throughout Leogane and Titanyen.
Food, Clothing and Hygiene Kits – In addition to our team distributing food and clothing to hundreds of women and children our goal is to supply hundreds of lifesaving hygiene kits that include basic hygienic items.
We see the opportunities being presented to us in Haiti as an open door to share the message of God’s magnificent grace. Join us as we make a mark that cannot be erased.
HYGIENE KITS
Our team will distribute hygiene kits consisting of dental care items, soap, detergent, sanitizer, as well as hygiene educational materials. These simple kits save lives!
EDUCATION
We found that having access to a good education is a key to breaking the cycle of poverty. This year our goal is to provide basic school supplies for students. We’re also hosting focused camps at local schools and orphanages such as Sports, Arts and Crafts and English classes along with Youth Leadership Seminars.
FOOD SUPPLY
Being able to supply basic needs to the local orphanages, schools and communities to the fatherless, widow and strangers throughout Leogane and Titanyen will make such an impact and the save the lives of many.
